My sister has homeschooled one of her older daughters, and now she's homeschooling her kindergartener this year. I realize it's such a HUGE job. I have great respect for women who have the patience to do it because I don't think I could. (I'm not smart enough) My girls go to a Montessori school which is wonderful for us.
MissyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078059806926332516.post-27606437066857236952008-09-03T14:09:00.000-05:002008-09-03T14:09:00.000-05:00Cathy- I wanted to show you this website that I fo...Cathy- I wanted to show you this website that I found today! Teaching ESL sounds like a very rewarding job. My mom is an ESL bilingual aid at an elementary school, and she is constantly telling me stories about how appreciative her students are, but especially their parents.
That coconut ice-cream sounds delicious! I'll have to look for it now :) kindly, JessicaJessica Rodartehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05769159020043047996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078059806926332516.post-4464152929646428872008-09-03T10:01:00.000-05:002008-09-03T10:01:00.000-05:00Hi Cathy, I enjoyed getting to "know" you a little...Hi Cathy, I enjoyed getting to "know" you a little bit better through your answers! I popped over to your other blog too and read a bit about your new homeschooling decision. I applaude you for doing what you feel is best for your kids! It takes a lot of dedication, and makes me feel tired thinking about it! Talk to you soon!Suzie Buttonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09345233483190990354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4078059806926332516.post-13552381403455947232008-09-03T07:28:00.000-05:002008-09-03T07:28:00.000-05:00Great to meet you. So finding these web-sites seems like a sign for me. (yikes, I have been avoiding it so far). And I need to get away from my flavored coffee and do the green tea. Thanks for the info. Blessings. I will be 40 in January, so it sounds like we have quite a bit in common! I think we may start a unit on "Kit" with the Portraits of American Girlhood Curriculum. We loved the Kit books and the movie. I will be posting my questions later tonight, so feel free to stop by! Mallory is really interested in the time period of Martin Luther King. She is always asking questions about equality. The Depression would be interesting to her to I bet!!

Have a great evening!
SherrySherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15007190866117617357noreply@blogger.com
